To administer and provide fiscally responsible control and guidance for all financial matter of the City while complying with City, State, and Federal mandates. Responsible for all the accounting of all assets of the City.
Department Functions
This department performs the following functions:
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Payroll
Utility billing and collections
Customer service requests
Cemetery records management
Fixed asset management
Development of the financial reports and support to the City Manager in preparation of the city budget are also primary responsibilities of this department.
All investments are administered by this department as well as the financing and debt instruments issued by the City.
